Jackpoint Jackstands for M6

Has anyone used Jackpoint Jackstands for an M6? If so what pads did you use? I know what to use for my Porsche 997 however I don't know the right pad for my 07 M6.

If you don't know what this is you can check it out here: http://www.jackpointjackstands.com/Home_It_Works.html

Warning, it you ever struggled with where to place your jack stand because you are using your jack point for your jack you will want to buy this too.

Thanks in advance

They have 4 factory plastic lift pads that snap into the body. You would have to remove them to utilize the product above. You can just jack from the factory lift pad. If the pads are missing on your car, (they remove them typically to tie down the vehicle from the hole the pad snaps into, toe/transport truck, etc.) you can just buy new ones to replace them.

Thanks, I still have the rectangular pads and can probably use the recessed jack pad. I was concerned about the clearance between the side skirt and the pad. The other option was to remove the the lift pad however the hole seems to be too small to fit the diameter of the conventional jack pads that are sent with the set. I called them to inquire and they thought that the M6 may need a custom pad.

BTW I drove the E39 version of the M5, it was a beast. I am sure you know how to have fun with it Thanks again for your feedback.

No prob! I would say, your best bet then would be to buy a nice aluminum low profile jack. Little pricey but the low profile is great on most cars, even lowered.

I've been looking at the light weight low profile jacks, you're right it really helps with the lowered cars. I would like to get away from driving up on chamfered 2x10s Mahalo buddy
