Project #PoisonIvy | Republic Wraps x MFEST x Hexis

RWC is an official sponsor for MFEST VII this year so that means we are doing a couple very special project builds to hit the event in style. One of those projects is my beloved E60 ///M5. You may recall my last build thread which included a full color change and new wheels #ProjectScarlettLetterM This project will be a lot more wild as we are making something that will stand out at MFEST and a ton of other shows the remainder of the year. Given that she is no longer my daily driver....i decided to go CRAZY!

Here is part one of our project build video, it serves at the intro showcasing where #Scarlett is now, then us pulling into the shop getting ready for her transformation into #PoisonIvy

Here are our planned changes:

Hexis Matte Apple Green Vinyl Wrap (official project sponsor)
STM Solar Transmission Management Huper Optik 60% Ceramic Tint (Official Project Sponsor)
Refinishing the DPE CS16 Concave 3 Piece wheels to Matte Anthracite Centers with Gloss Black Lip
RWC Real Carbon Fiber Side Skirts
RWC Real Carbon Fiber interior trim
Vorsteiner CF Front splitters (tentative)
Muffler Delete with custom straight pipes and exhaust tips (unless Meistershaft wants to sponsor us lol)
RWC LCI Headlight upgrade with real CF, lighted fins, T1000 glowing lens, white eyebrow mod, matte anthracite eyebrows, quad clear lens and color matched elements (look out for a separate build thread for that one lol)
Candy Chrome Blue Metallic ///M brakes, RPI Scoops, Strut Bar, and interior accents
RWC Lighted Door Handle Mod (finally gonna complete this one lol)
Real CF Roof spoiler

here are a couple of updates:

took off the old steering wheel and put on the new one from CobyWheel.com i had them wrap an OEM M5 wheel in alcantara with a blue race stripe and tri-color stitching....

we also had the brakes refinished in a candy cobalt blue metallic, along with the gauge cluster, the paddle shifters and smg shifter....

working on the project slowly in between customer projects when we can. hopefully she will be complete by the HRE Open House event outside of San Diego.

i did a quick test fit last night to check the clearances of the Carbon Fiber shrouds in regards to the OEM housing....came out perfect! i didnt even need to trim it. the level of quality with this 4x4 weave is beyond belief, i wish i could show you all in person. when the lights are complete ill be sure to get some better pics.

next up will be the lighted fin mod....
