CPO Warranty Question
CPO Warranty Question
2010 X5 goes to dealer today because the voice recognition is not working. They tell me the microphone needs to be replaced and software reprogrammed at the cost of $995. Just looked at the warranty for a CPO and it seems to me it should be covered. Car has 51k miles on it, so it has exceeded the 50k mi original coverage, albeit I don't that matters.
Thoughts? How can I dispute this with BMW if needed?

You may want to email or call BMWNA and see if they'll cover some of the repair since you're right outside the warranty. They'll do a "good faith" coverage sometimes if you're just a little outside of warranty. Your service adviser should really be the one who calls BMW on your behalf if they're will to put a little effort into it.
CPO is suppose to cover electronics, but not sure about this.
That's pretty outrageous for a mice repair.
