I don’t know what investigation they could have even performed if the car was released to the insurance and was probably sold as parts! I reachedout to BMW several times with emails and letters but was ignored. I have a thread on http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=767078 and BWM NA replied with their automatic reply a while back and nothing after that! I doubt we will ever know the cause of this, and apparently BMW does not care!! Until another M5 goes on fire, and I hope this never happens!
