Thinking about handing over the keys to my E92 M3..

What's next!? This is what I'm battling with right now. Its hard to get out of other car for what you get out of an M3 for the price. I've had the car since 2011, making my M3 my longest owned vehicle. I go through cars quick, but this one was my favorite yet, making it really hard to sell it before. I already have two friends who are serious about buying it from me, so I'm not here to sell it quite yet. I promised one of them the car because they know the history and my attention to detail and upkeep.

The car itself has 10's of thousands of miles left since I have a new engine - so 1 option is to keep it and enjoy it for 50-60k more miles, then sell...

Anyway, the question remains...If I sold, What's next? I'm humbly asking you all for your opinion, what is a good replacement to my M3? I don't plan on spending more than $60-$65k, and I want euro.

So far I'm only thinking (2007) 997 TT or (2010+) C2S. I'm open to ideas & suggestions. Not sure I want to jump to an M4 or M5 - it seems too familiar. Never owned a P-Car..

What have some of you sold/selling your M3s for?

My car has 64,000 miles. I saw this thread below, so it makes me feel pretty comfortable with retail and selling it to a friend since I know there shouldn't be any issues... BTW, the clutch measured at .89 MM or 90% left when they put the new engine in!

Thank you,

Justin

I think you should do some test drives of the cars in question and see which one you like best and matches your driving style.

My impressions:

M4 - Good straight line speed, looks great, gets lots of attention, isolated driving feel.
C2S - Good speed, must be rev'd high to experience the fun, corners like it's on rails.
TTS - Enormous power, corners like it is on rails, too fast to experience high revving unless you are on a track.

It's a natural progression to move forward. Most Porsche guys are ex M3 owners. I am one of them. I wouldn't go back to an M3 anytime soon. I would go 997TT, metzger engine, fast and furious.

I would do the 997TT or if you are looking for something really different try looking at a RS5. I love mine. Very, very powerful and kinda rare. You won't see yourself on the road.
