The M Aero package is wicked cool looking, I don't have pics and am unfortunately out of town or I would stop by the local dealer I know that has one. It's a big money package but it makes the car look 100x better... It pretty much looks just like an M5

My lease on my 03 530i sport is coming up on March 9th. So I am due for a new car. I was thinking of picking up the new 06 530i sport, or maybe upgrade and get the 550i. I just want something thats a bit faster than what I have now... which is not hard since I only have 225hp, which is the same power as some of your guys lawn mowers

Did any of you get any great deals on the 06 530i? My payments are currently $615/mo incl. tax on the 03 530i sport/premium, and was told that the new 530i would be an additional $150 a month, so .

Thanks!

I looked at the Infiniti M45, BMW M5, BMW 550i, and Audi S4...ended up buying a Cayenne S on Saturday...I love the CS!

The M45 is some serious bang for the buck and the dealers are more than happy to take a few hundred dollars over invoice to get rid of them. Downside, the looks are OK and the Japanese car manufacturer drive is so-so...the positives are plenty of low-end torque and some really neat gadgets...

BMW M5...car is awesome under certain conditions. Looks were fairly good.

BMW 550i...great ride for everyday...would have taken this car if I had not thought of the Cayenne S.

Audi S4...back seat is too small, looks are good, interior is awesome, but the car was not for me.

550i is a good call. Why did I go with the Cayenne S? Well, it is the absolute best handling SUV I have ever driven, it looks good, 340 HP, great daily driver...and I have three P-Cars in the family now...

The M Aero package is a dealer installed option.

I would agree that the Cayenne is an awesome vehicle. I have a V8 Touareg and love it. A lot of car for the money and it drives surprisingly well.

If anyone is really looking for a 550i mine is still for sale.

Jeremy and Tuuner gave some great advice. The only things that I can add. . .

The A6 has a very luxo-car ride and not a sport sedan ride. If this is what you want, in addition to great safety and gadgets, the A6 is great bang for the buck. The A6 has, IMHO, by far the most luxurious interior of the bunch. Audi was running a very attractive lease special on the A6.

The M45 Sport was a bit of a disappointment for me. The motor is anemic unless you compare it to the 6-cylinder German offerings- I think 335 HP is an optimistic assessment. The seats are poorly bolstered and the headlights suck. Sound system, however, is great for OEM. Very generic car, but I guess it's awesome to those moving up from their Sentras and Civics. Also, of all the marques mentioned, the dealer experience is worst on average with Infiniti. I mused about this yesterday with a patient of mine who works for Nissan legal. They're trying to improve, because they haven't enjoyed near the success of Lexus, which has done far better than them with not always better products. If I wanted to buy Japanese, I'd prolly take a GS430 over an M45 Sport. I'd definitely take a CTS-V over either but this car is for your wife- cool with her to drive a stick?

For me, I'd choose in this order, 550>A6 4.2>CTS-V>GS430>A6 3.2>STS V8>530>CTS>A64.2>GS300>Buick Lucerne Northstar>GTO>Lincoln LS V8>M45. As far as bang for the buck goes, look at the MazdaSpeed 6 if you want a 3 year car.
