Drove the M5 yesterday.
Awesome power with only 400 hp...'500 isn't available till the car has 1800 miles on it'.
Got it out on the highway and went about 110...had a ball downshifting it from 7th to 3rd for a tight exit ramp blast.
Loved the sound it had.
I almost think I could drive a M6 with SMG and be happy!!!

500 hp definitely is available, just press the "power" button!
The only feature that isn't functional is the launch control, which will automatically become available after you pass 1200 miles.

I drove it at a dealer, so I was going by what they told me.
If I needed a 4 door that would be it.
But for now, I'm considering the M6.
That is , if I decide to be Porsche-less.
