It seems that BMW is doing to the 3 series what MB did to the CLK. They took a muscular , tough looking car, and made it smaller with softer more feminine lines. Man I hope the new M doesn't disappoint.

If New M3 is to Old M3 as New CLK is to Old CLK, ill be VERY disapointed!!!

I used to aspire to a CLK 55 when they first hit the streets...now you couldnt pay me to roll in a CLK.

Come on BMW...dont let us down!

i kinda agree with u, but i don't ever remember a time when the clk looked tough or muscular.

it's more like the 993 S series going to the 996. the 996 is bigger and faster, but ultimately, it's the 993 S that gets the nod to being a classic design

I hope the production version comes threw, because these spy shots are super underwhelming... except for the V8 that is..

The AMG kit on the last-gen CLK looked pretty damn good. The new one (except for the F1 safety car bodykit) doesn't look tough.

might as well buy a 335i and hook it up, it's gonna end up being faster then the m3.

Could we have a moment of silence for the BMW engineers of the M division who went MIA. unfortunely some were asleep or on drugs while in early stages of development.
