Any updates on this 335i project?

I saw one today at the dealership by my office and almost swerved off the road in excitment! These cars are HOT!

(kinda off topic): Is it true that someone dynoed 350whp bone stock with a 335i 6mt?

I feel ya Martin....and the looks HAVE grown on me. I actually love the look now...esp white man...whew!

As for the jerkoffs buying them and beating M3's....i guess thats kind of a compliment right? M3 is the benchmark for performance cars in this price range (Esp BMW) so why not be proud you can "beat" one...although i think we all know that a E46 M3 would still win on the track...but still...for 45k and a $500 ECU to be beating your boys M3 is pretty cool you know? I know id be pumped

Bottom Line: Im not making a move till i see the New M3 and the GTR.

What if you had 50k to spend...would u drop 45 on the 335i and have 5k leftover for mods...OR...do a CPO E46 for the same money and mod it a little?????

Rough life isnt it?

M3 without a doubt. Just because you have modification money doesnt mean it will equal FUN I can still hop in a bone stock m3 and have more fun than half the exotics ive driven, its such an amazing platform/car out of the box. The 335 need alot of work in other areas rather than adding power

Yea, i was talking about the coupe...but was considering it my daily (and only car)...which is why i like it so much.

Seems sporty and fast for sunday afternoon backroad jaunts, but civilized and classy for mon-fri at the office and with clients.

My whole thing is i LOVE the "mod game"...so whatever car seems more modable to me gains major points.

No you are exactly right, i mean look at my life story LOL, its nothing but modding my car, body, life

Thing is, the M3 slightly modded gives me a whole diff level of fun/satisfaction that the 335 didnt give me. Between the lag between hard shifting, the lack of steering response (although it was very flat cornering, felt so assisted like the M5) just numerous things

Moral of the story: I need to drive each car...then make up my mind. The End.

Yes sir, and that is the truth As far as I see it though, either sticking with your evo, getting into a 335 or M3 are all amazing choices, such great cars!
