Anyone considered or bought the new 07 X5 4.8. I am thinking of this for a third car and wanted opinions, and ideas of what the lease prices might be?

A cousin of mine has one on order, I would wait for the Sport version coming in a year or two.

Thanks, I think that's good advice, I had been on a few BMW forums and the opinions are mixed about the new X5 after driving it. Only time will tell.

Trust me if you badly want an SUV now either get a ML63 AMG, G55K AMG or a Jeep SRT8.

Or if you want an X5 wait for the M sport version

Goodluck!

I would get the ML its smaller and faster than the GL, I neer drove an SUV larger than a Range Rover to be honest , I dont know how the GL feels and rides, however many members of the forum love the GL and find it to be very comfortable.

I would get a ML63 AMG, Recently a magazine got 4.6seconds on the ML63 to 62mph which is extremly fast for an SUV so if we want to compare this to a sports car, I know of someone who did a 50km roll and above the ML kills a C2S and 4S.
