Top speed on a 335i?

I am strongly considering jumping on one of these but i was reading a review on car and drivers website and they mentioned that the top speed was limited at 150 with the optional sport package. Does anyone know what the non-sport package top speed would be? (I didn't want to get it b/c i would put my own wheel/tires on it and i could care less about electronic seats.)

Also does anyone produce anytype of chip for the car yet? I would imagine there are some massive gains to be had from a more aggressive tune on the car. Any owners on here happy with their purchases?

Thanks for the responses guys!

I believe the non-Sport cars are limited to 130mph. Chips are not yet available but there is a piggy back computer in the form of a XEDE by Vishnu. There are tons of topics surrounding this mod. Check around.

I hit 140MPH in 4th gear in a 335i coupe. I backed off though. There was plenty more room to go. That car is probably limited to 155MPH.

Yea i did some checking into it and you're right. Thanks for the posts you guys... i just didnt know of a e90 forum to search on, but i have since found one that answer all of my questions.

Conclusion... it is rediculously easy to make this car rediculously fast.

IT's 155 mph elettronically limited...should do like 165 without it IMO!

Sport package doesn't give you electronic seats but it does give you the sport bucket seats which just alone are worth it...plus the better steering wheel (if sedan), larger wheels/summer tires combo and firmer spring/shocks (if sedan). The coupe already includes the sport steering wheel and sport suspension setup.
