335i & M Coupe - Lease Questions
If you do it right, BMW's are the best cars to lease. They usually have really good rates, it changes every other month so you have to be on the look out. I know 5 series are leasing out well right now, Z4's, and 328i's...
My current lease (granted its a Z4, but the msrp is still 40+) is under $294 with tax and that's only with 1600 down. You couldn't lease a new accord for that.
Bimmerfest is a great site for these type of questions. You can also put down multiple security deposits to lower the money factor (and you do get the $ back at the end of the lease). PM z3davis, he is more experienced than myself...
Where are you from?

BMW definitelty does have good lease rates. The interest makes or breaks a lease, and the 335i has an lease interest rate of only 4.2% (.00175 money factor). That's insanely low. Take advantage of it.
Don't look back, eh? Why? Because the rear is so damn ugly????
That is a good deal for sure given it's MSRP...
The car is so fun to drive, I LIKE 2 seaters, etc.
Insurance wouldn't be much of a difference. But it's rather hard to see out of (rear visibility + long bonnet in front) and, well, pretty ugly...
Nothing is happening tomorrow, so I'll find out in April what the production version of the G35c will be like. Then I'll compare all this Spring!

LOL! i have seen some that look ok, but its still a cool little car. the G35 coupe is def going to be a very very nice car. i have seen a test where the sedan ran 13.5@103 IIRC, the coupe should be faster. even though they technically only went up 8 hp it turns out to be a lot more based on new SAE rules for determining and stating hp. its going to be a gorgeous car too! theres no other car for $40K + or - fully loaded that i would rather have (given you are going to buy a BRAND NEW car). infiniti has stepped up the game and to be honest, besides a 335i, the g35 sedan is much better than a 3 series, in looks and performance! i say wait for the g35 coupe of buy a used m3 coupe or conv, whichever you prefer.
LOL... To each their own. They actually have an Altima coupe coming out which dissapoints me.
G35c looks amazing based on pictures so far. I bet its performance will be a hair above the sedan, which is fine with me. 335i would be modified to be faster, but I really dont need THAT much speed anymore.
Thanks for the quote on your new 335i. How are you liking it so far? And is yours a coupe or sedan?

Many things involved in a lease. Never negotiate from monthly payment, too many factors involved. Always from invoice price up and get that locked in first, then talk about monthly payments.
If you are really considering the 335i you should really try doing Euro Delivery and get the big saving if you have some time to travel.
I recently got my father into a Euro Delivery in March for a 530i nicely loaded (Sticker around $56,000) with no money down, with MSDs, with taxes, and a 2 year lease 12,000miles for 483 a month.
