I have seen dynos done of Stock 335i's showing HP closer to 350 hp and 360 lb-ft of torque (at the flywheel) - so this does not, with all respect, look too impressive.

this shows fly wheel power 360hp and 371tq crank ? ...the dyno show stock power to the floor which was 257 and change ..i have never seen a stock 335i put 300 hp to the floor. .. where can i see that dyno ..remember people modify dynos all the time ..this ecu made over 60 hp for this car ..with only 400 miles on it barelly broken in ..

^^its not bad, but i've seen ECU reflashes that give almost as much power just playing with timing, not upping the boost.

Regardless, the dyno chart looks great, and HRE's are siiiiiiiiiiiiiick.

Just reporting what I have seen - check out Automobile Magazine - they have an article as well as the video and graph of the actual dyno.

No axe to grind by them (they were surprised by the power and wanted to check it out they say). DynoJet chassis dyno I think and they extrapolated the 275 hp rear wheel and 299 torque.

What are your thoughts? I will take delivery of a 335i shortly, so...
(and how detectable by the dealer is your mod?)

Very nice choice of wheel. But you must get those side-markers smoked ASAP!!

well its a reflash very hard to detect .. other mothods is a piggy back ecu which requires cutting wires i would think that to be worse ...also i heard that the 1st few 335 made more power because they were boosting more ..and that bmw fixed that quick ...

I've seen dynoes on this car from 255 to 270+ to the wheels. So 257 to 300 is not bad. Got to worry about re-flashes though.

Any idea how those flashed 335's do against a stock e46 m3?
