MUST SEE! M3 Videos, looks to be prod. version

Came across these videos of the M3 and it seems to be the version we might get as a final product. Note the different wheels replacing the CSL's on the concept and I think they toned the power buldge a little. The V8 sounds incredible too. Watch them all as they ones in the middle really show off the little details of the car. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55177
Gotta say I'm like what I'm seeing and I think I'm past all the uncertainty as to how cool the new M3's gonna be.
Opinions?
eh...not impressed, STILL. its funny bc people always confused the e46 3 series with the e46 m3s when they were so different, imagine how much people are gonna think the new m3 is a 335i, LOL, since its sooooo sooo similar. the car sounds...ok, its not ferrari v8 or porsche v8.
It definitly lacks the presence the E46 had back in the day. It also looks higher of the ground, and the fenders don't appear to be rolled out? I'm sure engine will be sick, but this car is sort of a let down.
What a disappointment. It looks way to blah to be the new M.
Wow tough crowd ah? I don't know, I see where you're coming from but I never really picture M's as the "holy **** what's that" kinda car like the lamborghinis or something. They're all about toned down looks and incredible performance and to me it seems to fit here ya know? I'll agree though that it looks to skinny in the back. It's really dying for some nice fender flares.

I like it. Can't really say you hate it unless you see the darn thing in person.
Meh....I do think with the right wheels, right color and a few other mods it could look good. However, it isn't a natural beauty like the E46 to me. Kind of like the homely girl who turns to cute girl with good makeup. In Imola red it is homely girl.

I agree the back bumper looks pretty ricey. I gotta wait to see it in person though, I think it'll really be something else in person.Originally Posted by PorscheC4

I like it especially the frontal view... the details are great... interm of owning it... i'll wait for the 2nd year of production and when the DSG becomes available...

Great find!
Not a big M3 fan yet, but it will undoubtedly be an excellent drivers car. I'm very dissapointed in the interior and the engine sound wasn't as goose-pimple inducing as I was hoping. May be different in real life though.
In terms of styling, well there's a lack of subtlety to this machine and that get's me worried where BMW are headed. Yes, it looks fast, but it doesn't look classy.
Best thing in the video is the track and the birds in the background. I never thought I'd even register things like that in an M video..

i am gonna wait to see the 4 door before i make a final judgment. i am just not overall impressed with the 2 door design of the new 3. also, does that carbon fiber roof mean no sunroof?
