Can you belive this?

I have been doing some research about my tires. I need a set of tires for my car ('05 545). The car is a lease that I will be returning in about 5 months. It came originally equiped with run flats tires. This tires had a recall and where changed by the dealer at about 8K. Yesterday I call Tire Rack to order a new set of run flats, since both the dealer (Fields BMW in Orlando) and BMW financial are telling me the car needs to be return with run flats. When I gave the model of tire I had the guy tells me that the tires I have are not run flats. So BMW change my tires two years ago and insted of using "original equipment" the went with the cheap stuff. Now they went me to put run flats upon return. I called my service guy and he is suposed to call me today. I will be ok if they let me return the car with just normal tires which are almost half the cost of the run flats, but I fell they did me wrong making me think I had run flats for all this time. Should I make a big issue of this and try to make them give me my "original tires"? What do you guys think?

I have to return my 7 in a couple of months and bought some used tires for it about two months ago. It is being used infrequently now as its close on the mileage and I don't want to pay for any extra so their was no way I was buying a new set. I would return the car as is and if they say anything, drop the invoice from your dealer in their lap and tell them to deal with it. Tires being a wear item I cannot imagine that they can specify what specific equipment that can be used in place of OEM. Honestly you are better off saying nothing and dropping the car off.
