400 to the wheels??? I don't think so.

I read up on E90post a little, but I thought Procede + Exhaust was about 360 to the wheels? Never heard of people changing the downpipe, but is that good for another 40?? Wow.

Better hurry up so you can defend your plate. Right now it's just going to hold it's own against an E36.

I am either getting a 335i E92 or a G37. This thread is making it harder!

It should be very easy to get 400 plus with those mods, take a look at AA tuning. It will destroy the E46 M3 with just a chip in it now.

An e46 with bolt-ons is not fast at all, believe me I know. I am sorry the new 335i is hurting all yur feelings, but I know supercharged e46 m3's don't run 12.6's in the 1/4.

sure. ill be sure to make sure youre the 1st to see my time slip next time i hit the drag strip. the 335 is a great car, but i prob will never buy a regular bmw other than the SAVs. just doesnt have the same feel, and believe me, i know, we have 3 of them including my M. if i want something super fast, ill drive my dads 996TT. i would guess my car will be running about a 12.6@110 mph, and with that trap speed my car will be faster than a 335i which i have only seen trap 108 mph.

I dunno about S. Fla. but in SoCal there are a ton of stock M3s running around, most all of them owned by sub-22 year old middle-eastern kids who dropped out of college to sell home loans and got approved for 80 month financing at some stupid interest rate, but hey, gotta have "an M3 daawwwg" when you're living at home with no expenses and spend 70% of your income on your car and cell-phone payment. They throw an exhaust, angel eyes and some ugly carbon fiber diffuser on and think their car is God. Too bad most of them have **** for brains and don't know how to drive.

And the only reason I know is because I used to be friends with a good amount of them until I realized these losers aren't getting anywhere with their lives and are gonna be in that same M3 10 years from now, hanging out at their friends house playing video games, talking about how many tables they bought at some broke-dick club the night before.

As you can see, mid-terms have taken their toll

yea, they have. you sure when off on a tangent there. i guess you know some guys with stock m3s. either way, I personally dont know anyone with a stock m3, thats really all i was getting at. i sure as hell dont think im god with it as. i accept that its a fast car, not the fastest, it pulls hard enough for me and it fun to drive.

Vishnu suggests you remove it before taking the car to the dealer so there is zero problems

Ummmm..... Lee ran a 12.7 1/4 mile in his stock M3 with only a SSK about 3 years ago. PorscheC4 might know him from M3forum - he's a legend there.

yea, he ran a 12.7@108 in bone stock form. if you remember these 335i's with exhaust and chip are trapping about 108 so i dunno where people are getting off that 335s are so much faster. they weigh a good 250 lbs mroe than a stock m3.

Yeah, thats like me claiming a 12.7 with my M3 because Lee Rutter did it once. He's the exception and by no means is that ET par for the course.

An E46 M isn't a quick car in a straight line, same goes with bolt on mods. They are a greatly balanced car to drive fast, but straight line pace isn't their strong suit.
