Well...it's for sure a unique color...and special too, but I'd never get it in this way...

 

Don't worry, Slvr... your M3 looks great. Hey, I always say... kudos to those who dare to stand apart rather than be one of the primary "boring" colors: black, white, blue, red, etc... It may not be what most people would do, but that's what makes it special... otherwise, we'd all be driving the same 4~5 colors!

 

When we picked up our E46 M3 cab the dealer had a Phoenix Yellow one with Red interior awaiting customer delivery...wow

 

now that is a bizzarre color combo. reminds me of what i wanted to do - blue exterior and red interior - best of everything i love but wisely enough i do not believe bmw offered that...

 

I never got how they called that yellow. I mean whether you think its a gorgeous color or not, I just would never call it yellow. It seems more bronze/gold than anything.

 

Not really feeling it...or the "camo" green I saw on a M roadster recently. Same shade as crap.

The sooner bmw brings Dakar back, the better. Phoenix is just ***** in my opinion.

I use to call it duck **** yellow.

Imagine that yellow on a 7 series or X5..... but for some reason it's ok on the E46 M3.
