What was the rarest M3 of all times, wasn't it the E36 M3 Evo? The one that had the original SMG.

bmw was the first car manufacturer to release an SMG for a production vehicle, before ferrari or anyone else. and it was released on the e36 m3.

Good luck! I can't see the new M3 being a hit, especially with something like the 335 out. That plus its so and so design is def. a risk in the U.S. market.

Which year did they start making SMG for the E36s? Ferrari started to make F1 boxes for the 355 in 1997.

i believe it was the same year, but it is my understanding that BMW was first.
