Built in, we have an electric water pump that runs after the car turns off. Turbos are water cooled.

Thanks!! Too many vendors complained so I was banned. I still lurk around though...

pick up the latest issue of C&D or lurk some 335 forums. they handle pretty damn good. on the same course as a 997TT it ran a 3:10 vs the porsches 3:05. not too bad all things considered

what are the bearings in the turbo lubricated by though? Do they have their own oil system too?

That would be impressive.

The only thing I know for sure is that the newer ones are now equipped with oil coolers. I'm not positive about the rest so I'll let someone else answer that one.

No nothing like that, but the EWP does a pretty good job of cooling them down after shut-off.

i have been reading alot of guys water pumps failed and had to wait weeks for there cars to get fixed, terry did you have any problems with yours??

+1. I heard they are working on a new part number, but who knows. I've been lucky so far.

Mine will be one of the earlier 08s.

I guess those with the lucky Fuel Pumps are those with the unlucky (welded) diffs... Not 1 for 1, but close...
