.....because the 15mpg you get with your 996TT is such a great economy car

I just got rid of my 996tt so yes, I am speaking from experience. Why would anyone driving a $90-100K car give a **** about gas mileage......DD or not...in the first place?

Congrats, very hot. Nice trade for a 330i! Enjoy the ride. White looks very hot on that car. And when do you get the ML63 ? Nice ride. The better car for that price! M6 or SL550? The M6 is the winner.

The new BMW styles tend to look good in white b/c i think it hides alot of flaws. You've got a great all-around car for sun & fun so enjoy.

The problem in the M5/6 is not the fuel consumption itself. In the same way it is not a problem for every 100k car. It's it's tiny little tank that restricts its drivability combined with its overall thirstiness....

screw the break in. drive the snot out of it as jamie suggested.

engines are broken in on dynos already. the worst thing you could do to them is drive em slow and consistent.

Only here can we make someone get a little defensive over choosing a 100+ grand V10 M-car over something else. As a DD you're doing WAAAAAY better than 99.9% of the people out there so enjoy.

Obviously, i didn't buy the M for its gas economy I wanted something topless, new, fast and all the new "gadgets". I love the bluetooth, ipod, and this car has heated seats . I drove my TT as a daily driver, so this is a big change in regards to comfort. I'm not defensive, the car is amazing for what it is. There's really nothing like it for the price. Thanks for the compliments guys...i'll start driving her harder!
