Possibly, maybe they're planning on introducing the hatch eventually. BMW NA is only a short distance away, he was on his way into CT.

The 135i is going to be a great car! Coupe or Hatch, it's all good... Major modibility and much lighter weight. All it needs is Dinan limited slip diff, intake, tuning, exhaust, and suspension and it will be one hell of a M3 killer grocery getter.
