sorry but i need to vent...

yesterday i went to whole foods to get some stuff to prevent me from starving. the whole foods i usually go to has an underground two level garage. first level is where 99% of the cars park and it is 95% full while second level is where people who car about their cars park and there are usually about 5 cars on that floor.


anyways... as i stand at the light to make a left and pull into the store, i see a black M5 in front of me making a right and going into the same lot. right away something didnt seem right. the wheels were FULL CHROME like this:



(talk about brake ventilation)

anyways... i am thinking that can't be. its probably a 528 trying to pretend to be an M5. so i pull into the parking garage and before i drive down to my regular 2nd level "nobody is around except me and another porsche" parking, i decided to make a circle around first level and find the car. sure enough, it was parked there. it was M5. with HUGE CHROME wheels totally blocking the breaks (cant even see them).

but that is only have the story. something else was off. and than it hit me. the car had about 15 V10 stickers on it. there was a V10 sticker on the trunk. there was one on the freaking GAS DOOR!!! and there was one for each body panel. oh, and of course they were CHROME AND SHINY!!!

i threw up a little in my mouth and kept on driving. i understand to each is their own, but c'mon... how about just a little taste!?

sorry, just had to vent.

That looks like an 18 wheeler wheel. Sadly there are plenty of garbage bling wheel companies (many of which adversise in Excellence and Bimmer Magazine) who are in business because people have no idea and have more $ than sense. There are soooo many cool cars with weak *** wheels running around Scottsdale it's not even funny. If they are chrome and 20"s, nothing else matters. lol.

 

haha yeah, but it was the first match on google images. i just wanted to show that it wasnt just chrome, it was one of those wheels which covers the whole inside of it too. dont know what they are called.

It goes to show you that no amount of money can buy you class. V10 sticker on the gas door. Classic. Just so the guy pumping your gas knows what the hell is under your hood (I'm from NJ we don't pump our own gas)
Where can i order some V10 stickers and 22" Pizza pan rims for my M5. LOL
