The Eagle has landed? new m3 pics at the dealer...
the front, I like, but I think it dosnt fit the car that well, there are two wheels offered from what Ive gathered one looks like absolute POOH and the other looks good.. but not great.. not a bad looking car, love the roof..
interior.... isnt bad, but just seems a little, plain to me..
The car is disappointing overall IMHO, after LOVING the E46 M3/CSL the new M3 is just.. well, boring for some reason, cant really explain it..

The only solution for those who don't like the car, is to simply not buy one. There is no point in saying "I don't like this, or that" the fact of the matter is that the design is final and there is not a damn thing anyone can do to change it.
You can always shell out $70k and buy a rs4 that provides extra 6hp and 4wd.
If I was in charge of BMW M DIVISION, I would have kept the current E46 m3 in production and modified the straight inline-six to pump 415hp with the ability to rev to 8000+ and made it direct competitor to the GT3, and to counter the GT3RS, I would roll out a CSL model (Then maybe stick the V8 engine in?)
What's amazing is that Porsche was able to squeeze 415 hp out of it's GT3, I don't understand why BMW didn't try to do the same.

I hope I will be pleasantly surprised by this car. I don't like the way it looks at all and I am hoping for the aftermarket business to fix the bumper and mirrors. Have high hopes for the CSL too.
It's rated the same weight as the RS4. So unless you kick the tail out, this sounds like understeer... It was already bad in the E46...

Nicky I think with a few minor mods the car will look great, IE CSL-ish wheels, a little drop...
I dont like it. The front and rear bumpers need to go - the interior is blah (other than the thick looking steering wheel) and the wheels dont do it for me either.
Ill pass...

We did coilovers this weekend, fully adjustable JIC cross setup. Unfortunately, the wheels we put on don't clear even with a substantial spacer so I may have to put the stockers back on. Looking forward to trying them out though!

Very disappointed
