what is a 2002 z8 with 30k miles worth...what is a price that would be a steal....the price my wife could drive it for 6 months and get the money back..its dark blue with cashmere

the prices seem to be all over the place...hes hinting around at around 80k

I think you should...the car is so rare and an interesting driving experience...just know that in NO way is that thing nimble...haha...but it makes a great gt roadster!

I'll will own one someday.

I think 80's might be a BIT overpriced. As of late, Z8's have been heading very slightly up-- but I think mileage on these cars correlates to price similar to that of Ferraris. A certain mileage interval (5-15k miles) will cost $95k-$110k, but a 30k mile car gets lost in the pricing index. I'd say your best bet is to offer SOMETHING and see how it plays out. I may be wrong, but that's how I see the Z8 market.

Have it structurally inspected carefully with special attention to the shock towers. There have been increasing reports of structural issues, changes in body panel gap geometry etc.

Well the thing is, it has a slavage title, but it was fixed perfectly with all new BMW parts, and I have owned it for 2 years and have not had any problems whatsoever, and you could never tell it was even in an accident.
