Used for years in motorsport (including Formula 1 and World Rally Championship) as well as heavy commercial and industrial vehicles, ECS Tuning is proud introduce Pipercross Performance Foam Air Filters to the US market.
The beauty of a foam air filter is it's ability to hold 2-3x the amount of dirt a conventional filter can, while still allowing flow superior to a standard paper filter. This can result in years of high-performance filtration between filter services. I said services - not replacements. Pipercross filters, depending on application, are either oiled or dry, with oiled filters getting specific cleaning treatments and dry filters just getting a simple was-and-reuse regimen. Many Pipercross filters are oil free! But some are made with a combination of a specially-designed two stage foam, plus a light oil to achieve high performance while still maintaining excellent filtration efficiency. We've noted which filters require the special fluid. If your filter requires the fluid then:
