The Velos Personal Tuner will boost your F8X M3 or M4’s performance by an impressive 66hp and over 70lb ft of torque. Unlike many other packages on the market the Velos Personal Tuner requires no cutting and the simple install can be done in 30 minutes. Benefits include improved power throughout the entire rpm band, sportier throttle response, smooth power delivery, as well as an improvement in MPG. With our preset calibrations the power deliver to 3500 rpm is smooth so traction is still possible with a gradual increase that will unleash your M's true potential to the 7500 redline, providing you with useful power in an RPM range where the vehicle will spend the majority of its time. Optimized for vehicles using gasoline with an average octane rating of 90-93 peak gains are realized at 5400 rpm. The Velos Personal Tuner for the F80, F82, and F83 platform is engineered with a multi channel controller that uses RPM based integration which enables our team to provide a refined power curve much higher than that of the factory. With an M our engineers felt it was necessary to maintain the factory like characteristics even when increasing the vehicles HP&TQ output over 15%. All of this is accomplished well within factory safety parameters making this upgrade a must for the enthusiast looking to maximize their M’s performance without any compromise.

What does Plug & Play mean?

This means there is no need to cut or splice into the factory BMW wiring loom (harness). The Velos Personal Tuner uses factory connectors to guarantee a sure connection without any issues. The unit can also be removed in a manner of minutes requiring at most a 10mm socket.

Adjustability

The personal tuner comes with preset calibrations resulting in a power curve that delivers constant and more importantly reliable power through the entire RPM band. Our engineers do feel there is more room on the table but after extensive testing we feel these limits will be out of tolerance and cause limp modes and warning lights.

What is the by pass plug?

This allows you to go back to factory settings in a manner of minutes by installing our by pass plug and removing the module. Keep in mind a complete un-install will only take roughly 30 minutes
