We are new to these sub-forums but we are not new to the game... so get used to seeing us around here guys!

With so much grip out of the box it is difficulty to improve on the stock chassis performance characteristics without ruining the ride quality. The only way we managed to do so if by choosing suspension setups that have been specifically tested for the individual application. KW is one of the few companies in the industry that thoroughly tests their product not only on the race track, but also on a 7 post shaker rig, something only a handful of suspension manufacturers have access to in the world.

Redline Speed Worx (RSW) Shop Car KW V3 Update

As some of you know we have a Mineral White M4 as our new shop car to replace our TTRS. Although sad to see the old project go we are eager to develop this new car in to something as formidable as that car was.


We want to start out slow with this car and enjoy it in all its various stages of development so we can give direct feedback to our customers. By installing, driving, and knowing how the parts actually effect the driving experience we can give you guys, our customer’s better advice when setting up your own cars.



Our current car is already lowered on springs, but after driving on the car for a few weeks it is clear that the stock struts are not paired well with the lowering springs. For those looking to lower their car on a budget it is an acceptable solution but for making the most out of the car on the street and track we have elected to go with some KW V3’s.



This is how they show up, direct from KW.



Look at how the items are packaged. Nothing can get damaged in transport. The instruction booklet and adjustment tool sit on top of foam wrapping over the springs, the DDC deletes and associated hardware sit in a box between the perches and on top of the strut mounts, the coil overs are all held securely in place with strong corrugated cardboard braces…. The way KW packages its product is a feat of engineering in itself. You can tell this company is ran by engineers not accountants, and for us, that’s a very good thing.





This is KW’s tried and tested V3 coil over kit.






One of the best parts about ordering a KW product is that every nut, bolt, and zip tie will be included in the box.



These in particular need to delete the DDC modules, of course they are included.



Even the instruction booklet and adjuster tool get their own dedicated case. Do you think KW cares about the product they offer? WE THINK SO!

All I want to do is lower my car but I don’t want to spend 3 grand and I don’t want my ride height to be too low or too high, what do I do?

The age-old dilemma.

We all want a car that rides close to stock but gets rid of some of that horrible OEM wheel gap. We don’t want to put low quality parts on our car but frankly some of us aren’t prepared to spend a few thousand dollars on suspension, yet we think the car handles pretty well the way it came.

FINALLY THERE IS A SOLUTION!

The KW HAS kit.

Let’s start with what separates this kit from the other options on the market. Adjustable sleeves/collars!

First the Fronts.



Look at the quality and thickness of the bracket for the brake lines, the coating on the metal to make sure it doesn’t corrode, etc. Clearly labelled in case you ever need a replacement, and a locking nut on the collar to set the ride height…

Next the rears.



Again, high quality finishes and level of quality on every machined surface, no rust here.

Helper springs and bump stops always included with spring or coil over sets from KW when needed.
