the outdoor cover looks to be made entirely out of polyester....looks like "a tarp" or an outdoor lightweight rain jacket (i.e., northface shell).

so, it looks like it might scratch Porsche paint! is this the case?

are there covers that have something like a microfiber lining, or something else made to minimize paint scratching?

i'd always clean the car before placing a cover on it.

 

The underside of the covers are a soft breathable fabric. The outside is made for repelling water and the elements, so it's not the same cloth material as the underside. It is always recommended to apply any car cover to a clean vehicle to protect your paint and as to not scratch it with dirt or leaves.
