(Of course since I'm in CA this is purely a hypothetical question, 'cause I'd never do anything like drive to Arizona for an install or anything...

thumbs up on the laser stuff
that is the latest and greatest LEO tactic, and mine has saved my bacon. I have the veil, haven't put it on yet. And on my latest laser shifter, the ZR3 from Escort, i put all three heads up front- you rarely get lasered from behind, and if you do, a good detector should tell you that the lasering is going on in FRONT of you before you get there.
