Sister just got a White Cayman
My sister just bought a white Cayman! Here's a few pictures:

The Cayman looks awesome in white and she got a really good deal from the dealership. Usually my 911 is parked in the garage, but its currently at the shop getting its mods installed (RUF front bumper, HRE wheels, Techart sideskirts).
BTW, if you own a 986, please go to the FS section and see my for sale threads for some of my old parts (headlights, shifter, e-brake).

I wrote off the white when I was shopping, but when I saw one in person I was really shocked. Those cars look amazing in white! I guess the curves put off any semblance to a refrigerator or washing machine :P
I was really shocked too. One thing I didn't like though was all the attention from it. White cars are LOUD! Man, I drove it back from the dealership, and the car was getting wayy too many looks. The color just screams at you.
I never have that problem in my Black 911, but then again, it's just a 911

I test drove a Cayman S a long time ago, so I probably wouldn't be the best person to make the comparison.
The base Cayman felt fine for what it does: lower hp on a light car. Brakes, steering, engine feel fine. She got an automatic (tiptronic) so I felt very limited in terms of driving.
It felt almost as fast as my old 2002 Boxster S (250hp) and it was really loud. I'd say its a sports car for someone who wants to OWN a sports car that has a nice engine, balance, convenience (two trunks, nice looks), and will be used daily.
Now if you like DRIVING a sports car, it still has its high points, but its obviously limited by the fact that its automatic and has the smaller displacement (not enough hp).
Overall, its a really fun car and I think it suits her purposes very well.

Dudes! Its my sister! Damn pervs....
Fine! Here's one of her and her friends... just to kill the curiousity.

She does have quite a few cute friends though. I guess being big bro can have its benefits, although, if she finds out I posted her and her friends here, she'll be pissed!
