This is the post when I did mine:

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-calipers.html

Using the spray paint is the way to go. Tape the whole car, use a plastic bag for the wheel hub. It was really easy. I spent more time cleaning the calipers than painting them. I was able to paint the back side of the calipers but takes some contorsionists class!
Please post pics!

Which ceramic spray paint did you use?

Did you spray a clear coat?

What about decals?

That looks so much nicer than the brush on paints. I tried that G2 garbage. It worked well on my BMW but sucked on the Porsche. The Porsche calipers were too smooth and it showed brush marks. It looked terrible. I eventually had them powercoated which looked factory. However, they're pretty much ruined from the track so I'm considering doing them myself this time.

Have you been to the track yet Joe? If so, does it hold up?

I am certainly very impressed as to what you have done here.

I am still considering powder coating because I am going to braided lines and new rotors.

It seems it's just as easy for me to powder coat and rebuild them.

However, what you ahve done is fantastic.

Yeah, Wheel Dynamics does quite a bit of business and usually has pretty decent deals for the wheels they offer. . . . I thing your wheel color and brake combo is still a nice choice.

spray can is the only way to go.
That way you can do the primer+enamel+sticker+clear. and you should be set.

Hi guys, I have a question.

I previously painted my calipers and would like to change the color now. DO I need to remove the old paint before putting apply the new coat? Or can I just apply over the old paint?
