as far as CS vs C, coming from a 997S (but havent really been driving lately/been out of the country).... i think CS (for extra HP) was needed for me. plus i dig the red cliper look, larger brakes, met gauges, other standard items that S comes w/. id go w/ extra S if i were u! good luck w/ search!!

Milltek has had some substantial probs with their exhaust on the Caymans. You might want to search caymanclub before you head down that road.

I had a nice catback from vividracing (site sponsor) that was cheap (think its less than 1K) and sounded great and got a nice bump in HP.

I think the one I have is very similar to the original Fabspeed or so I am told. Couldn't tell you what the diff in sound is.

Check vividracing.com my car was the tester. I think fabspeed posts soundclips on their site as well.

thanks guys!!

initial impression: love the (new) styling, bigger cargo, handles more balanced than the 911 but missing the torque for sure. interior cabin, besides the baby seats, feel just like 911. if they put the 997S motor in there, it will fly!!!!

cons: hate the little dinky spoiler, wish they could have done a sunroof and not a big fan of the engine whine (maybe time to put exhaust on), haha

exhaust will definitely help you with that.
