upgrade to automatic climate control

Just curious, is this doable? Is it simply plug and play, meaning taking the regular temp module out and swap it with an automatic one or is it more complicated than that? thanks!

^ I could be wrong but I would have to imagine some changes would need to be made to the ECU as well.
