They'll definitely have to bump it up for the Carrera also.

I'm sure they would bump it for the Carrera. However, I don't think someone looking for a 911 would be interested in a Boxster or Cayman just because it has a bigger engine. They need to bump up the power to keep up with the competition. People most likely aren't going to cross shop a 911 with a Boxster S, but they will cross shop a Z4 or Z4M with one (if that makes sense...)

^ Yeah, I totally agree with you on the cross shopping with Z4M.

I test drove both the other weekend and Cayman S just feels sublime, where as the Z4M was definitely more rough around the edges; I wanted to through into the corner and just go tail out and throttle my way through the corner...

Needless to say the Z4M is no longer on my short list...

I completely agree, Porsche may lose up to 15 cars for the whole year if they release this Boxster!!!!

Ok so Porsche has always built better cars its just that people dont really care that much. They want their 911!!!! The 911 is safe and sound trust me
