Recall on the Boxster '08

Well I called the dealer today to see how my car is doing on that noise in the engine... they haven't gotten 'round to it just yet, but they did tell me that the latch for the soft top has a recall. This came up after I complained that it took a lot of force to open and close that latch. I also complained on how slow the whole process is compared with the 2007 Boxster...

Is there a list of recalls on these cars? I tried the NHSA and there is no service bulletin or recall for these cars, what the dealer told me contradicts that...

Any idea where I can get the lsit of service bulletins and recalls?

Interesting...the latch on my '08 987S seems stiff to open and kinda sloppy/loose when closed; however, I have not heard of a recall.

I'd take it to the dealer... The recall is there.

Just checked - as per Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville FL, there are no 2008 Boxster recalls.

Confirmed, the recall is on the screws for the door latching mechanism...
The soft top latch was just deffective.
The exahaust problem was a vaccuum line that goes to both mufflers...
Parts are on order...

Coastal Motorsports Corpus Christi...

Just curious, what the hell vacuum line doing in mufflers? Some sort of EGR emissions system?
