Turbo Spoiler?

Hi guys. I want to get a bigger spoiler, purely for cosmetic reasons. I really like the spoiler that is on the 997 911 Turbo.

Do you guys know if there are any spoilers similar to the Turbo spoiler, for the Cayman?

Also would a Turbo spoiler fit on a Cayman? I know both are hydraulic and be raised with the touch of a button or above certain speeds.

I had a 997 turbo factory spoiler, I test fit and measure the distance between the pair of metal rods that lift up on my CS and they are the same.

The only problem is the angle of the factory thread, if you line up the angle of the cayman's spoiler rods and the turbo spoiler. the spoiler would be pointing slightly upward. I was going to have a metal shop make me a set of extension to fit the spoiler, but end up selling the spoiler.

So to answer your question, yes its possible, you'll need to have a metal shop make you a pair of extensions on end with same thread to screw into the 997 spoiler and another end thread to match the cayman's spoiler threads.

No need to photoshop, if you google 9FF's 3.8 cayman conversion, they have the 997 turbo spoiler attached to their show car, with custom metal extension and adjustable angle backets.

Thank you so much Advancetyper. In addition to how and if it would fit, you provided a link to how it might look. I'll check it out. Great info.
