I like the idea of a neon green. Or of course orange always looks great.

The front bumper you have on now, is it a replica Ruf? If yes where did you buy it from and how's the fitment of it?

A super nice RUF replica. We had a real one about 8 months ago for a 997. It cost $3500... talk about not getting your $$'s worth! (my opinion).
It was a HEAVY urethane bumper, & needed 7 hours of bodywork (skim coats of body filler to make perfect) it was a VERY wavy to start with. Hard to believe, after you've paid $3500 for an original part. But that's how it goes most of the time, what can you do? Anyway... that bumper's gone now.

Got this bumper, and it's a very nice part (Xtrememotorcars on Ebay). We modified it (the hood vent) as I didn't care for the RUF front vent (hood) area. I think the Gemballa style front vent area looks much cleaner & simpler looking. We also modified the sides of the bumper with Gemballa-looking side air ducting. ;o)

Does anybody know how I can post the photos so they appear large?
So they wont appear as small attachments that you have to click on to view?

Thinking of this tail... Kinda goes with the
"look" of the car... I think.

The rear bumper I'm going to be using is the
same style (Cayman style)... but it has the
GT3 side air ducts. ;o)

Concerning the paint, have you considered going with a color flipping paint? Nothing overly dramatic as that could cheapen the look, but say a silver with a blue back, or maybe perhaps a silver to orange?

This FTO color might even work.

I am a total fitment whoore.
Looking at your front end, it looks like the fitment is pretty snug and nice.
The rears as well. Good job so far, getting more and more anxious?

Thanks! Getting VERY anxious. The rockers will go on tomorrow... we'll be working on major fitment issues, as these rockers were made for a 997. I'm sure we can make them fit... but not sure how much of a hassle it will be. I think I'll be looking at at least 8 hours per side.
Like you said: fitment fitment fitment. I'm very picky on that too. Also, parts have to "flow" together & look like they "belong". So far I'm pretty happy with the look of the car. ;o)

That might look cool. I'm still a bit up in the air regarding the paint. I'll probably have 3 colors in mind while Im at the paint store, and make up my mind at the last minute. hehe

Still tossing the color around. Want to get this body work all squared away first... then I'll start thinking a bit harder.

By the looks of it so far so good. Do us all a favor and give us updates when able. Cheers
