Electric top "stuck" 1/2 way down. '99 Boxster.

Hi,
I've had this problem happen 2 other times... and "fixed" the problem by simply turning the car off, then back on, rolling the side windows down, then up. Putting the emergency brake down, then back up. Finally the top would start working again. This time those re-sets are not getting the top to start working again.

Here's what I know hindered it's performance:
I started putting the top down, then stopped its progress when it was 1/2 way down. Did some work in the rear engine area (also springs installation). Then came time to put it all the way down again. Nothing.

This time when I tried to "reset" the windows, emergency brake etc... the top is doing nothing. Anybody experience this before. I know there is a trick
to getting it to "reset" itself. And get it working again.
There was absolutely no problem with the top before. I know that the stopping it 1/2 way down is not the best thing to do.

Is your hand brake light on in the dash? Check fuses, may need a new relay.
