H-MAN is infamous around these parts
With the windows up the Cayman S is much louder than the 997S. If the 997 is too loud for you then I'd stay away from the Cayman.

Funny thing is the older I get the worse my hearing is and the more the road noise bothers me. Seems contradictory but I am also trying to quiet my airplane down which never used to bother me. These are just some of the things you young guys get to look forward to later in life.

They do nice work and understand Porsche. If you like what they do with your car you may want them to do your plane also. Good guys.

I agree...drove both back to back, within a matter of minutes...Cayman S was smoother sounding...997 was a little bit more roudier (sp?)...me likes 997!
