Boxster S Wheels
My 2002 Boxster S currently has the original 17" wheels. I am considering getting a set of 18". However I am very confused after visiting TireRack and Porsche dealer part pages. I saw a range of wheel widths of front and rear, and a range of offsets. My question is, if I don't want to add spacers or anything extra to my car, what wheel specs are good?
Front: 18/8-9? Offset 50 or 5x???
Rear: 18/9-10? Offset 44 or 5y???
Also, tire size recommendation would be 235/40/R18 and 265/35/R18??? Or there are other sizes to go?

Factory 986 wheel/tire specs
18x7.5 ET 50, 225/40/18
18x9 ET 52, 265/35/18
I wouldn't go off on the tire size but wheels depending on width & offset it may or may not fit depending on those 2 factors. If it's 5mm off while retaining the same wheel width I think you'll be safe.
