Hey everyone,

I recently purchased a sport exhaust for my '03 Boxster S from Brandywine Porsche. I had it shipped to my dealer here in california; they unpacked it and told me that it will not fit my model year boxster. I have several questions:

1. is there any truth to this? will the sport exhaust only fit on pre 03 model year boxsters?

2. if the exhaust indeed will not fit, is there a way to modify it to make it fit?

3. I have been told that there is a hardware kit availible for this exhaust. is this what i need to make it fit?

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you could suggest a very knowledgeable individual who could give me definite answers to my questions I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance.

I'd suggest you call Brandywine. There are different PSE kits for the different years, it's possible you got the wrong one.

 

There is a version for 1997-2002 and another version for 2003-2004. The early version will not fit 2003-2004 because the bypass pipes hit the bottom of the bumper cover. The bumper cover changed in 2003.
