FACTS:
- + 11 crank hp & + 10 crank torque
- 2" tubing (50 mm) straight through design for max. power
- Weighs 23 lbs. (10,4 Kg)
- T 316 stainless steel for improved durability over T 304
- Dual 3.5"(90mm) round tips
- Made in Germany
- Intoxicating growl at idle, partial throttle and wide open throttle
- No DME programming necessary.

It does not have any drone as it is factory stamped. Here is a little more info..

Brombacher mufflers are “factory stamped” externally; unlike our competitors systems. This outer shell dampens and eliminates unwanted frequencies and ensures no resonance or drone in the cabin. The end result is a strong, linear, firing-order dominated flat-6 Porsche® sound. In addition, Brombacher exhausts systems are available for ultimate performance full titanium. Our titanium system’s are nearly 40% lighter compared steel and are available for late model, water cooled applications. Each of our exhaust’s have been extensively tested on both a chassis and engine dyno as well as logged thousands of miles on both the street and at the track. All this research, development and testing ensures maximum horsepower gains throughout a broad power band; all while maintaining reasonable sound levels for the street and provide a distinct, sporty exhaust note that is purely Porsche®.

The price is currently $2,124
Rhonda,

Thanks for the info. I hate to ask a silly question, but these new exhaust systems, are they for the new 2009 987.2 models of the Boxster S / Cayman S or are they for the earlier version? I have a 2009 Boxster S and that is what I am interested in. Thanks.

dyno #'s should be around 15-20 to the wheels, rhonda can comment on the weight
sounds like OEM "sport" exhaust but on STEROIDS

997TT RS 2.7,

The "Sound Version" muffler for your 08' Boxster SE retails for $ 2,124.00. This is not a Dansk muffler, if you look at the first page of this post you will see a very in depth review of our supplier in Germany.

Thanks for your interest in our product.

Rhonda

In regards to the Group Buy...

Currently the Euro to USD conversion is extremely high. I do not have much margin in this system to give everyone a good group buy price. Also these systems are made by hand in Germany and each system must meet extreme quality standards, all of which take time.

However, check the vendor classifieds for what I am prepared to do for you guy's...
