Hello, New Site Sponsor on Board
Hi There,
I just wanted to stop by and say hello. We just became site sponsors and are happy to be part of this community. Please feel free to post any questions you may have about our company or our products. We currently support your cars with LSD's and Torque Biasing Differentials. Gearsets, mainshafts and ring and pinions aren't far behind.
Kind Regards,
Matt

Hello,
I'm sorry to say that we'll never do that product for your car. This is not because you drive a Cayenne. This is more because of two other things. The first is because our products are for inside the transmission. We don't make any sort of linkages or clutch products or anything else once you exit the case of the gearbox.
Beyond that, if you read around the web a bit, you will find there are a wide variety of opinions on short shifters. We are on the side of the debate that they are bad news. A person can already shift faster than the synchros can syncrhonize. A short shifter only increases that speed and accelerates wear on the gearbox internals. While it may seem like good for our business to have you wear out things and need to replace them, it's just not practical. We want to see your gearbox last as long as possible. With the myriad synchro and bearing problems that we've seen on recent cars like the 996 Carreras, introducing a product that contributes further to the already inherent issues just isn't something we want to be part of. We're more commited to increasing the durability of the gearbox inself and the parts inside than something that makes it "feel" more sporty.

Matt,
Glad to see Guard on this site. I have used your gears and LSD in the past. Great products and service.
Now if you'd just make an LSD for the Cayman PDK. Seems you can't get one from Porsche unless you buy a complete transmission. Just a tad high for adding an LSD.
