Who has the most miles on their Cayman/Boxster???
Great thread !!
I have 42K on my 2007 Cayman and if anyone has doubts about doing bolt on mods ( SRP ,Flash and Remus Exhaust) my car has NEVER seen the inside of a shop
runs Better then the day I bought it.This is my first Porsche and I am 100% satisfied with the Porsche Quality .I did not know it would turn me in to a Modaholic though

I've been thinking about picking up a used Cayman or Boxster and was worried about how well these cars handle high miles. Now I wouldn't feel as bad buying one with 30k+ miles on it.
Plus I've always done my own mods, so its good to know the cars are fairly easy to work on. Gonna try and not mod the P-car too much if I get one, maybe just wheels and suspension, possibly exhaust. Mods are just tooo much on these cars. A nice exhaust cost almost as much as my entire supercharger kit on my '03 Mustang GT lol.
Some amazing mileage stories here! While not quite on par with some of the others, I've racked up just under 10,000 miles in the first 6 months I've owned my CS. They've been 10,000 of the best miles of my life
Oh nice!!!....time for some mods Mr Chris!
I am almost at 31,000 on my 2008 Cayman S. Hope to take some killer road trips this coming year (Porsche Parade Chicago 2010!) so maybe ill hit 50k by the end of 2010???

Hi All
Should introduce myself
I have a late '01 986S with 114K on the clock now. I bought it in August with 104K miles, having had a new engine and gearbox at 100k!!
The 10K I've done since August have mainly been track miles, doing 8 circuits here in the UK and a couple of trips into Europe to do Spa and Nurburgring.
'Permagrin' hasn't left my face

[quote=lithium1330;2609068 has 190k miles (including 10k track/autox miles) on his '98 Boxster: avg 16k miles/yr. And I think he (his car) won the zone 12 of the PCA autox this year - didn't even have to do the last run of the season. Can you say... what RMS issue?
That was a couple of weeks ago
I'm at 192,000 and counting.
Still on the original clutch and most of the original suspension.
No RMS or IMS troubles.
Happy Boxstering,
Pedro

What do you got for the car? 23k? I mean because I have never seen a Cayman with so many miles!
