Noob question about tire pressure

I have a "new to me" porsche cayman with the 19 inch carrera wheels. The tires on this car I believe are Front 235/3519 and Rear 265/35-19 Michelin Pilot P/2. I am not sure what the proper tire pressure is. The Automatic tire pressure monitoring system says I am running low 30's in the front and low 40s in the rear.

Is tis correct. Does anyone have a preference. I do most of my driving in short distances some freeway some arterial roads. Of course here in portland typical winter day is 40-55 degress and damp if not raining.

thanks for your help.

It's probably 32 front and 34 rear. When you open your driver door, there should be a sticker on the side/jamb with suggested cold pressures for various tires and loads. Congrats on the new ride. You're gonna love it! (I traded in a 997S to get mine and am very happy with it!)

Oh, and the TPMS is notoriously unreliable. You need to use it as a guide and verify with a good tire pressure gauge.
