Hi guys!

So I'm looking at a used Boxster. I live up in Canada so if I buy now the car won't be driven till April.. but from your experience should I wait or buy now? I am assuming prices will be higher later in April as demand increases. My budget is around 20k (tax in)...

The one thing that worries me is the IMS failure which requires a new engine. Is there any particular model to buy which has less occurrence of this? I have read that a high mileage model would mean a smaller chance of this. What do you think? If this does happen, and I do not want to replace the engine what would you estimate the worth of the car to be?

Any one have experience with a good warranty plan for older Boxsters?

Also, anyone have experience importing a Porsche into Canada from the US? I noticed that the cars are much cheaper down there...

Interested in used Boxster/Cayman advice as well. Any info on the newer models having problems like the older ones? It's amazing how far the prices have come down on 2005+ B/C's. I just have to decide whether I want to spend the money on an S model and whether or not I want a vert. Coming from almost 600whp is going to suck, but I love a really good handling car.
