Help with interior color, what color is this....

The seller's ad describes red, but I am thinking it might be natural brown, but still hard to tell with the lighting......

I would guess it's the Cinnamon Brown. Natural brown should be lighter, I would think.

At least from your picture (with light and everything), it doesn't look red enough to be the Boxster Red -which looks like this:

looks like terracotta no? Not sure if it was available in that particular gen boxster though.

Either way, it's a great looking color (from those photos anyway).

The only standard red interior offered on the 986 was Boxster red (I have seen Carrera red special ordered). That's my guess. Good news is they went with the deviating black carpet. The Boxster red carpet tends to turn pink after a while.

The only standard brown interior for Boxster was Savannah Beige, or Cocoa on the 2004 SE.

Look for the options list and see if it's noted there. Looking at a 2001 Interior options list, I'm sticking with Cinnamon Brown. Like CB, Boxster Red is also a special order leather. See the full list of colors here:
