Thanks for the kind words on the system everyone! Just finished taking a few pictures of some stage 2 parts that are going on a clients car.

This is our stage 2 system.

Schwabe already has the manifolds and the routine switching.

The full Stage 2 system includes the larger turbo as well.

Dominics car makes ~450 to the wheels, with the larger turbo at close to the same boost levels the system would push ~480 to the wheels.

fuhrius is infamous around these parts
save it for the track

irresponsible driving, let alone bad technique. when horsepower and responsibility are inversely correlated, it's a bad equation.

That is because he is a troll who does not go out in the cold. As Bayern living in both countries driving is hard to get used to when I come back to the USA. Really hard when the roads are snow covered here. Last month back in Germany I was doing 105mph on the snow covered autobahn and got passed by a Cayanne Turbo doing at least 140mph. What would California boy say about that???

Your shipping will be about $5k for a round trip container. Let me know if you want the name of a good shipping company. Or at least the company that ships the Porsche museum cars to the USA.

I look forward to seeing your cars at an upcoming meet

A few things...

First, this thread makes me want to Turbo my Cayman BADLY. So THANKS a LOT!

Secondly, hope to see you and check out the car at the track day in late FEb. I am coming with a friend who has a high HP E55 so ill be on the lookout for you.

Finally, i was just in Germany not long ago and was in Stuttgart but my hotel was in Ludwigsburg - seems to be close to your area - i was also hanging out at a friends place in Moglien (spelling?). What a great area. But i must say, the highlight of the trip was taking my rental (AVIS) 997 PDK Cab up in the mountains outside of Heidleburg. WOW! I now know why you Germans drive so well

Cheers!

Thanks, unfortunately I do not really have the time to track the car. We are boaters so every weekend during the track season we are on the Bay. During the off-season my wife works Friday and Saturday 12 night shifts so I cannot just leave her alone with the kids on Sunday. I will be at MIR though on February 28th.

As for the South of Germany, I miss the twisties of the pre-Alps and then on weekends the extended drives through the Swiss and Austrian Alpes.

Schwabe,
Congrats on the upgrades. I've always been somewhat of a skeptic when it comes to putting boost in a high compression engine. Hence the 3.8L upgrade vs. a SC. However, I'm glad to see that TPC is enjoying some good success with this package. It definitely continues to pique my interest.

We are also boaters (long-time sailors, but now motor-boaters) Maybe we'll see you on the bay this summer if we come down to the Chesapeake.

Ich bin aus Herzogenaurach.

Dave

Amongst the hundreds of cars at the local C&C meet in Houston, this caught my eye and stopped in my tracks. I spoke to the guy and he was very informative and pleasant. Thank goodness.

It makes me want to build a turbo cayman.

Anyhow, congrats on the build!
