im interested in getting a pair of carbon fibre wing mirror covers for my 986 but all the pictures i've seen on the net of 986's that have these covers are ones that are taken from the front of the car, therefore they dont show the edges of the covers. does anyone know how they look where the edges show, will it be too obvious that they are just covers?

 

I have seen some pics on ebay that show that the covers don't completely cover the mirror, that there is a slight "gap". appears to be about 1/8" of an inch.
if you do end up getting some, please post some pics!
