I see you added 15mm spacers on the rear, did you add any to the front? If not, why not the 7mm spacers?

I'm looking at adding them to my Spyder but wanted to pick your brain on them.

Mark, glad to hear that you are finally posting after being on this site religiously for years! Welcome! You are after all, the person that helped firm my Porsche "habit(s)"
I chose the 15mm spacers because it gives a very aggressive look to the car. Also better handling once I change the springs a bit. 7mm dud not get it completely to the edge of the wheel well. There is no rubbing, or any issues front or back. Had my Porsche guy check to make sure that it's a healthy set up. The wheels that are currently on the car is the new GT3 lightweight wheel, just powder coated silk black to match the new silk black paint around all of the intakes, mirrors, and the led lights in the bumper. Also added a red pinstripe to match the calipers.

So you say 7mm did not get it to the edge -- are you talking about the rear? So you went with the 15mm instead. Is this correct?

What did you do in the front? Anything? If not - why not?

Thanks (love your car!)

7mm did not take it to the lip in the rear, correct. Changed to 15mm spacers for both front and back. I really liked the look AND the ride. It may not be for everyone, as the front wheel is right on the edge of the front lip. If you would like pictures, I'll be happy to post if it helps, just let me know.

Ah ok. 15mm all around. I would love some close up pictures. Spacers is on my short list of things to do.

Thanks!

Pearlcoupeg35...still waiting for better weather, it has been raining here in Madison for the past 3 days! There are pictures on the 1st page of this post that should give you good idea of what it looks like. As soon as it is sunny, or at least not raining, I'll snap some close-ups.

Are your wheels Flat Black or Gloss? It's hard to tell from the pics.
